Eskoensio Pipatti has Master of Science degree in Technology, but has been working the main part of his career in editorial positions and in R&D positions in media companies.

From 1980 to 1984 Eskoensio worked in a popular technics magazine as an editor and from 1984 to 2000 as an editor-in-chief of four computer magazines in Sanoma Corporation, starting paid-for digital publishing in those magazines already in the 1990’s. After that he has worked in R&D of digital media technologies in Sanoma’s digital divisions. The latest 3 years he has worked as the Focus Area Director of the research programme Next Media as the representative of Sanoma.
