Dirk Nolde is Managing Editor of morgenpost.de, the digital venture of Berliner Morgenpost, the German capital's regional newspaper. Morgenpost.de is one of the top 15 news websites in Germany. Dirk restarted and relaunched Morgenpost Online in 2007. Morgenpost.de has won several prices since, including the European Newspaper Award.

Before working online Dirk was a print journalist: In 1999 he was the founding editor of "Webwelt", the first (printed) internet-magazine published by a German newspaper. He worked as a technology reporter for the national newspaper "Die Welt", became the assistant managing editor for business, finance and real estate at "Die Welt" and went digital as managing editor for business, finance and technology at welt.de.
