    • Jim Thompson was an American businessman who helped revitalize the Thai silk industry in the 1950s and 1960s. In 1967, Jim Thompson while exploring Cameron Highland in Malaysia, disappeared without a trace. He was known as the "Thai Silk King". His former residence has now been converted into a museum.
    • After refreshments, you can browse through the huge collection of Thai silk at the Jim Thompson Museum and do some shopping, as well.

    • Visit to the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall which was built in 1907 by H.M. King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) and was completed in 1915, during the reign of H.M. King Vajiravudh (Rama VI).
    • Sail on the rice barges along the Chao Phya River giving you a glipmse of Thai river life.
    • Tour the Arun Temple, built 400 years ago during the Ayuthaya period. This landmark of Bangkok, also known as the Temple of Dawn, was the visual background for the movie, "The King and I". 
    • Traditional Thai lunch at Sala Rim Naam at the beautiful riverside restaurant of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Accompanied by the famous Tiffany Cabaret show.
